Samara T3 came seventh in the 1990 Paris-Dakar Rally and fifth in 1991, piloted by none other than Jacky Ickx.
The T3, however, didn't contain many Samara parts, using the Porsche 959's four-wheel Drive system and a 3.6-litre Porsche flat-six.
It was developed by Lada-Poch together with NAMI and the Tupolev aircraft factory.
